Mars Colony Project:
We will also begin our Mars Colony design this week. Students will brainstorm within groups to design a Mars Colony that takes care of all of the colonist's needs for survival. Check out the Mars Colony Worksheet for more information.

3D Printing
Each student will design a 3D model that may be 3D printed to take home. Each model must be designed so that no or minimal filament support is needed. Models that are properly designed with this requirement in mind will be 3D printed so that the designer can take their model home. Designs that require excess support will need to be redesigned before printing. (Note: Below are some great videos to watch to get a grasp of the technology involved.)

We will complete our planning for our Tower Garden this week. Utilizing Nearpod & PowerPoint slides, we will learn about plants, photosynthesis, cellular respiration, vascular and non-vascular plants. Quiz will be on Tuesday, Apr 2.

Keep on the lookout for potentially dangerous reactions to the outbreak or if you notice anything that needs to be done right away. If so, send Dr. Billman a memo!
Due February 22, 2019 for Cohorts E, V, I, L (Cohort E Feb 25th): Each team will write up a short description of your current theory as to the most probable cause of the outbreak and if there are any common patterns between the victims. Send or hand in your theory by the end of class.
